Insomnia Publications is a publishing company based in Dundee, Scotland, primarily producing comics and graphic novels and distributing them across the globe. With printers based locally, London and Quebec and distribution networks in the UK and the US , Insomnia Publications has built up a strong network of contacts.

The People:

Crawford Coutts - Managing Director

Crawford completed his degree in Interactive Media Design at the University of Dundee in June 2005. He has been drawing since as long as he can remember and grew a huge interest in digital art, 4 years ago. At university he developed his digital art skills to a professional level. He has always dreamed of starting a company and finally found his niche in the comic industry; founding Insomnia Publications in 2003.

Ironically, Crawford developed Insomnia in late 2004 and has been awake constantly ever since!

Alasdair Duncan - Director

Alasdair drew his first comic strip (The Indestructible Stuntman) when he was 13 during interminably dull chemistry lessons. He then spent years attempting to make up for the poor grades he achieved in this subject, until he finally realized that it was actually the comic strip which was the more important part of his schooling. He now writes full time.
